The Ti Squared team celebrated the holiday season together with friends and family! Happy Holidays!
Coe Hanel, the head of sales for TI Squared, leads the way in crabbing in Alsea Bay, OR. The crabbing season peaks in this area from the end of October through early November. The catch was cooked directly in seawater and was absolutely delicious! Thanks Coe!
Dan Blankenship, the Continuous Improvement Manager for Ti Squared, and his son Lucas harvested their own honey this summer. Dan & Lucas have six hives that are home to approximately 300,000 bees. According to the duo, a bee can live up to six weeks during the summer foraging season and fly up to 360 miles in that time frame. In all, Dan & Lucas harvested nine frames for a total of 36 lbs of honey! Thanks for sharing Dan & Lucas!
Catching crawfish with the Ti Squared family on the Alsea River! Crawfish peak season extends from May to late July and also coincides with trout season. Our team also enjoys canoeing on the Alsea River as well!
Kevin Town, the Ti Squared Maintenance Lead, had a successful day of fishing both Chinook & Coho Salmon on the Oregon Coast! The best time for fishing on the coast is between July and August. Thanks Kevin!
Erin Bodily, the Quality Systems Manager, enjoyed a hike up Mt. Jefferson with her close friend! Hikers looking to take on Mt. Jefferson can find fresh huckleberries to pick in September, and Santiam Lily's in full bloom during the second week of July. The santiam Lily is a locally protected flower known for its strong fragrance and beautiful aesthetics. Thanks Erin!
